Buccal Mucosal Graft Urethroplasty

This procedure is performed by urologists under general anesthesia, by making a circumcisional incision on the penis to remove the outer layer of skin. Then another incision is made on the perineum and the penis is bought to the perineal area and then a longitudinal incision is made on the dorsal aspect of urethral stricture. A buccal graft harvested from the cheeks about 1.5 – 2 cm width is placed on eh dorsal aspect of the urethra and is fixed. The urethra is retubularized by sutures and the penis is bought back to its normal anatomical shape and all the incisions are sutured after placing a drain.

Partial Penectomy

If Penile Cancer cancer has grown deeply inside the penis the goal is to remove all cancer and some of the normal looking penis.

Total Penectomy
The entire penis is removed including the roots that are extended the pelvis and the surgeon creates a new opening for urine to drain from the perineum.

Orchiectomy
A surgical procedure, were one or both the testicles are removed to stop the production of testosterone which suppresses the growth of cancerous cells in Prostate Cancer.
