Management

Pumps

A vacuum erection device or pump device is used to draw blood into the penis by applying negative pressure hence used prior to sexual intercourse.

Surgical Management

The last resort, if other treatment failed is surgical intervention.

Prosthetic Implants

It involves surgical insertion of artificial rods into the penis which is malleable (bendable) or inflatable. These rods are surgically implanted within the erection chambers of the penis. Thereby, whenever the man wants erection he presses the pump which transfers saline from the reservoir to the cylinders in the penis thus causes erection. likewise by pressing the deflation valve the pump returns the fluid to the reservoir cause in deflation of penis to normal flaccid state.

Vascular Reconstructive Surgery
